We don't cut corners. We start with proper grading, install the right base depth for your soil, use quality crushed limestone, and crown the surface so water sheds off instead of pooling. When we're done, your driveway looks clean, drives smooth, and works.
Every job is different — but the principles don't change. Here's how a typical residential or rural driveway install goes from start to finish.
We come out, walk the job, and give you a straight number. No pressure, no inflated quotes. We'll talk about length, width, drainage, and any soft spots that need attention.
We strip sod, vegetation, and unsuitable topsoil. Then we grade the path with proper crown and slope so the finished driveway sheds water from the centerline outward.
For soft or wet soils, we install geotextile fabric to keep the rock from sinking and mixing into mud. Then we lay a coarse base lift — usually 3" minus or larger — and compact it.
We finish with CA-6 crushed limestone or your preferred top course. This is the layer that locks together and packs down into a hard, smooth driving surface that looks clean.
We crown the finished surface, blade it smooth, and compact it. You get a driveway that drives flat, drains right, and is ready for use the day we leave.
We haul off any spoils, leave your property clean, and walk you through the finished work. If something isn't right, we fix it. That's the deal.
